Fighting for connection and the bonds of friendship

'Markey’s gift for anarchy is one of the great clarifying forces we’ve got: Her comic wildness and her voice blast through you like a storm blowing backward.' TIME OUT NEW YORK

Presented by In Between Time with Arnolfini as part of the In Between Time Summit and the Still I Rise expanded programme.

*Please note that due to technical issues and the live nature of the show Friday evening’s performance of Singlet will start at 9pm (not 7.30pm as advertised).*

In SINGLET, Erin Markey employs exceptional physicality and sharp humour to map the bonds of friendship and intimacy.

Combining Markey’s talent and charismatic presence with a host of influences, this kaleidoscopic show grapples with the desire, rivalry, vulnerability, and subterfuge that bind two people together. By turns tenacious and tender, SINGLET reimagines the economies of power between friends, families, and wrestlers.

Erin Markey is a Brooklyn based performer, musician, writer and creator of live performance works. Their shows have toured across the US and internationally. Catch them this season on HBO’s High Maintenance and TruTV’s At Home with Amy Sedaris.

The best way to experience the Summit is with a 1 or 3 day pass from just £45-£95
