'Laughter is brightest in the place where food is.' IRISH PROVERB
At the heart of any community is the plants that we grow, the food that we eat, the ritual of gathering around a table to feast.
As the Summit draws to a close, the Arts Mansion’s Music Hall throws open its doors for music and a feast of ethically sourced, plant-based food from Bristol’s Suncraft.
Join the summit community to toast to building better futures together. Surrounded with plants and produce from field, forest and garden take time to slow down and gather sustenance ready to tackle whatever comes next.
The Summit closes with a set of provocations, pledges and artistic actions to build our strength, warm our hearts and feed our souls. For the future.
This event is part of the In Between Time Summit Day 3 programme. The event is included in the 1-Day Ticket or 3-Day Summit Pass and cannot be booked separately.
Opening in September 2018 on Bristol’s Gloucester Road, Suncraft set out to serve delicious plant based food and drink from all corners of the globe. Suncraft work hard to keep their food ethically sourced all year round. Dishes change seasonally depending on the availability of fresh fruit and veg from suppliers. At their resturant, Suncraft have worked with Grow Bristol, the city’s pioneers in innovative urban farming, to create an in-house hydroponics system for growing ingredients such as Egyptian mint, pak choi, edible flowers, and mizuna (Japanese mustard leaves).
