Please note that this opportunity is for people who are from lower socio-economic backgrounds.

Workshop dates:

Friday 7 March 2025, 11am–2pm

Monday 17 March 2025, 11am–2pm

Friday 28 March 2025, 11am–2pm

We want to work with you to co-create a sound installation for the stunning rose garden at National Trust Tyntesfield this summer. This work is inspired by the last Kauaʻi ʻōʻō bird, whose haunting song—never answered—symbolises loss, resilience, and hope.

What Will Happen?

Hear the final call of a lost bird and reflect on its meaning.

Use your voice, movement, and creativity to express your response.

Why Join?

Be part of an artwork that will be installed at Tyntesfield, a historic estate which houses the National Trust’s largest collection of objects. Express yourself and collaborate with other young people to create a sound piece that will be part of this artwork. Explore how creativity can amplify voices for climate action.

PLEASE NOTE: Minibus transport to and from Tyntesfield can be arranged free of charge for workshop participants
