On 8-12 February 2017, IBT delivered its most successful festival yet. Taking the theme Stand Up Stand Out, exceptional British artists called out for the world to change. Coursing across Bristol’s venues, docksides and woodlands, IBT17 demonstrated that British Live Art is globally significant and it is here to stay.
40 ARTISTS, 10 LOCATIONS, 5 DAYS
6,627 tickets sold across the city over 5 days.
15,153 people through the doors of Arnolfini‘s galleries.
Our first ever International Showcase presented 22 British live artists, offering a version of the UK that is rich with a diversity of voices.
200 professionals attended the showcase from across the UK and 5 continents.
40 international delegates were subsidized by Arts Council England, Australia Council and British Council to develop new global markets for UK artists and their work.
