THE LOCKDOWN RESOLUTION FAQS

HOW DO I ATTEND THE EVENT?

This live and interactive performance can be enjoyed either in person at the venue or remotely from home. Please purchase the correct ticket for the experience you would like. Due to the nature of the performance, if you buy a ticket to attend in person, that ticket won’t allow you to attend remotely.

Details of how to access the performance will be sent to you prior to the event.

The performance is live and therefore is the same experience for those attending in person and those attending remotely from home.

WILL I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING WITH ME?

Full instructions will be provided to you after you purchase your ticket.

If attending in person at the venue you will need to bring with you a fully charged smart phone with in-ear headphones connected and the free zoom video call application downloaded and ready to use. You will need a microphone (you can either use to one in your smartphone or your headphones).

You will be provided with a virtual reality headset for the duration of the experience. Don’t worry!! We will be on hand to assist you with how to use your headset and the zoom application on your phone.

If attending remotely from home, you will need to have a computer, smart phone or tablet with access to the internet and the YouTube and zoom video call applications downloaded and ready to use. You will need a microphone (you can either use to one in your smartphone or your headphones).

You do not need a virtual reality headset to take part in this experience from home, however you are welcome to use your own if you have one. A headset that supports a smart phone inside is preferred. Eco friendly cardboard headsets can be purchased here.

I DON’T HAVE A SMART PHONE, CAN I STILL ATTEND THE PERFORMANCE?

We have a limited number of spare smart phones and headphones. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will require these.

WILL I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PERFORMANCE?

The performance has been made to be interactive between 20 audience members through a zoom call and involves informal, friendly conversation about the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. We recommend participation to get the most of this unique experience, but you don’t have to.

IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION FOR THE EVENT?

The performance is interactive and therefore suitable for ages 12 and up with a parent or guardian if under age 15.

WHERE CAN I BUY A TICKET TO THE EVENT?

You can buy your tickets via our website through Eventbrite. Unfortunately, we don’t have the facility to take box office bookings over the telephone, but if you have any questions about your ticket or your booking, you can contact us at [email protected]

WHAT DOES PAY WHAT YOU CAN MEAN?

We believe everyone has a right to access and experience art and culture. We understand that personal financial barriers can affect this access. We also believe in the value of artists and cultural makers who should be paid appropriately for the incredible work they do.

Our Pay What You Can scheme allows you to choose a ticket price that fits with your current circumstances. A range of price points will be presented to you when you buy your ticket, all you need to do is choose one.

WILL I NEED TO PAY A BOOKING FEE?

All tickets will incur a small booking fee to cover Eventbrite service and payment processing fees. In Between Time do not receive any income from these fees and we have taken time to negotiate a reduced rate with Eventbrite for you.

CAN I PURCHASE AN ACCESS TICKET?

This is an interactive, audio visual experience requiring the use of headphones and virtual reality headsets whilst sat for the duration of the performance. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible.

We offer free companion tickets if required when booking to attend in person at the venue. Please indicate on Eventbrite when prompted if you require an access ticket and we will be in touch or contact us directly to discuss any other access requirements at [email protected]

CAN I JOIN A WAITING LIST IF THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT?

We advise booking tickets in advance of the event. When buying your ticket on Eventbrite, you will have the option to join a waiting list if the event is sold out. You can also contact us if you would like to be placed on the waiting list at [email protected]

HOW DO I COLLECT MY TICKETS?

You will be emailed a copy of your ticket to the email address provided at the point of sale. This is your ticket and your proof of purchase. In the interest of our environmental policy, we encourage valid tickets to be provided at the venue on mobile phones, tablets and other devices rather than printed copies.

CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN NO LONGER ATTEND?

Our refund policy entitles you to a full refund (minus booking fees) if you can no longer attend the event, provided we are notified up to 24hours before the start of the event booked for.

If the event is cancelled or rescheduled by us for any reason including related to COVID-19 we will contact you to inform you of the cancellation and offer options for rescheduling if available, a full refund (minus booking fees) or a chance to turn your ticket into a donation to In Between Time.

If you can no longer attend in person at the venue and would like to change your ticket to experience the performance remotely from home, we may be able to change your ticket subject to their being enough remote audience slots available at that time. If you would like to cancel or make any changes to your booking please contact us at [email protected]

This is a low-capacity performance, please let us know if you can no longer attend up to 24hours before the performance date & time so we can offer your place to someone else. Refunds claimed after the performance has taken place are not available.

WILL I STILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND IF I AM LATE TO ARRIVE?

If attending in person at the venue, please arrive 20 minutes before the performance start time to allow us time to check your tickets and set up the virtual reality equipment with you. Latecomers will only be admitted at the least disruptive time after the event has started, however due to the interactive nature of the performance, late entry cannot be fully guaranteed.

If attending remotely from home we recommend beginning to prepare 10 minutes before the performance start time to allow time to find a quiet spot, get set up comfortably and run through your instructions to access the performance.
