Emma Lewis – Senior Communications
Emma is passionate about the power of art to change the world. She has a background in visual arts, largescale live, outdoor events, as well as a life-long commitment to environmental protection and social justice. Emma completed a BA in Fine Art & French at Exeter University, including a year at the Ecole Regionale de Beaux Arts, Nantes, France.
Her professional life started in marketing communications and has evolved to include strategic business development and creative production. She has worked in education, government, travel & tourism, and for environmental and social justice organisations. A fan of live events, she has worked at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Green Man Festival and Shambala in the UK; in London she was on the Advisory Board for Notting Hill Carnival and was one of the Founding Directors for St Paul’s Carnival CIC in Bristol; she oversaw the launch of the 1 Year to Go to the 2012 Olympics and worked with Luke Jerram on his Sky Orchestra to launch the Cultural Olympiad in the UK.
