IBT wants to create a space in which the Summit community of artists, audiences and staff feel inspired and supported. We strive to be inclusive and promote equality for all.

We have created this plan to help achieve this goal. If you have any suggestions please let us know.

This event is supported by Doing Things Differently, a partnership between Diverse City and Bristol City Council Arts and Events Team. #DoingThingsDifferently

All access ticket requests need to be made through  [email protected]  and we provide complimentary companion tickets.

WELLBEING

We work with venues to provide a Quiet Room where possible.

If audiences or staff are affected by any issues discussed in the talks and performances and want to talk to someone, we suggest contacting Bristol Mind who operate a confidential freephone helpline open from  Wednesday to Sunday from 8pm to midnight. They provide a safe place to talk if someone is in distress.

We recognise that the most effective support is on offer from professional specialist community services.  Bristol Mind  will also give information about mental health support services available in your area.

Audiences are welcome and encouraged to leave auditoriums and event spaces if they need to. Artists and speakers are made aware of this.

If you are feeling anxious or nervous about coming to the In Between Time Summit please feel free to speak to staff before or during your visit. We can reserve a seat at the end of a row, make sure you are located close to an exit, provide a quiet space where possible etc. Our staff are here to make you feel welcome and comfortable during your visit.
