Exploring queer dance as care, joy, and collective belonging
Less Like Ourselves, More Like Each Other is a touring film and immersive installation project by Graham Clayton-Chance, developed in collaboration with In Between Time.
Combining the acclaimed documentary Last Dance at the Sundance Stompede with immersive installation, workshops and participatory events, the work explores queer country-and-western dance culture as a space of care, resilience and collective joy.
Through film, movement and shared experience, the project invites audiences into a living history of queer dance communities and asks how movement can create belonging, connection and celebration.

About the Collaboration
In Between Time is collaborating with Graham Clayton-Chance through its Artist Co-Lab programme to support the project’s development, touring and participatory engagement.
The collaboration centres shared values around inclusion, collective experience and artist-led practice, while creating opportunities for audiences and communities to actively shape how the work evolves in different locations.
