Experience the forest like never before
Capturing the Forest is an immersive installation and participatory project created by Kristina Veasey (UK) and Alejandro Ahmed (Brazil) in collaboration with In Between Time.
Connecting forest landscapes in the UK and Brazil, the work blends sculpture, sound, film, movement and live participation to explore how we experience and relate to the natural world. Developed through an access-led and internationally collaborative process, the project invites audiences into a sensory encounter with forests that foregrounds touch, listening, imagination and collective storytelling.
Created by artists living with disabilities, Capturing the Forest asks how immersive art can open up new ways of accessing environments that are often physically or socially inaccessible.

About the Collaboration
In Between Time is supporting the development of Capturing the Forest through its Artist Co-Lab programme, providing creative producing, international partnership development and participatory engagement support.
The collaboration reflects IBT’s commitment to artist-led, accessible and socially engaged practice that creates new ways for audiences and communities to encounter contemporary art.
